Services

Occupational
Therapy:
Assists with developing coordination, handwriting, fine and gross
motor skills, feeding, self help, playing and socializing to
perform activities of daily living. Occupational Therapy will
identify and improve difficulties that interfere with the child's
potential to perform functional daily living skills and peer
activities. Our Therapists provide direct treatment along with
consultation for carry over at home. Our occupational therapists
incorporate sensory integration and neurodevelopmental techniques
specific to each child's needs.
Speech Therapy:
Helping children understand and use language, developing
communication skills and optimizing oral motor skills for eating,
drinking and speaking. Speech Therapy will identify and improve
abilities with expressive/receptive language, functional
communication skills, and oral motor feeding issues. Treatment
includes family priorities along with therapist recommendations
for a complete program.
Physical Therapy:
Assists with developing balance, posture, coordination, strength
and the use of prosthetics for the highest level of independent
mobility. We evaluate orthotic and equipment needs in addition to
gross motor delays associated with Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy,
neuromuscular diseases, genetic syndromes, torticollis, and
others.
Music Therapy:
Utilizes music, song, and dance in a small group setting to work
on language, social skills, pragmatics, and peer interaction.
Interactive Metronome:
Innovative computer aided technology to improve timing, motor
planning and sequencing. This technology is effective for children
with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism.
Handwriting Groups:
Summer and After school program of 4-5 children of similar
abilities to work on improving legibility and accuracy of writing.
